Our Winter Contest Winner
About our Summer Winner – Dorothy Inglis
A note from Dorothy:
I have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren…I started taking pictures of the sunrises on my way to work every day, and that’s where the passion started…I now see things differently, I’ve learnt that there is beauty in everything, you just have to see it, and hopefully, my pictures do just that.
Dorothy’s photo was taken at The Meaford Harbour
A Note From our Spring Winner – Karen Brown
About 3 years ago I found my passion, inspiration and love of nature photography in my backyard. I love capturing and finding the beauty in the ordinary, everyday things.
My favorite place to be and photograph is the Rocky Saugeen River that runs through my backyard. I go there to find peace, quiet, solitude and to spend quality time with my family.
I love sharing my images, discovering, learning and sparking conversation about nature. I hope this image leaves you with a sense of peace and wonder for the beautiful world that is waiting for you just outside your backdoor. Go and enjoy nature!
About our Winter Winner – Bonnie Gardiner
Bonnie Gardiner is a life-long resident of Grey County, a visual artist, certified yoga instructor, writer and member of the Studio XX painting group. Her acrylics can be found at Southampton Art Gallery, Matilda Swanson Gallery in Clarksburg and Arts on Ten in Flesherton. She has been guest artist at the Owen Sound Artists’ Coop on several occasions, and shows annually at the Bruce Peninsula Art Show. The land- and street-scapes of the Grey County area offer a plethora of everyday miracles that are muse to her works.
This photo was taken in a field south of her home on a frosty November day. Reluctant to walk on such a crisp morning, her personal trainer (dog Maxx) was insistent and the Universe provided her with this beauty of a capture. She is happiest when she is creating.
Please note: Prize winners will be determined after each voting period has closed as set in the Rules & Regulations. Calendars will be mailed out to all winners in late November 2020. If you have any questions, please visit our FAQ section or contact Bailey at 1-800-861-7289 or email@example.com.
