2019 proved to be another interesting year in the real estate market, and the numbers are in! Grey County saw a decrease in the properties being listed for sale resulting in a 16% decrease compared to the previous year. There was an increase in properties being sold with 25% increase in the number of sales in 2019 over 2018. The average sale price increased by 10% this year, up slightly from the 8% increase in 2018. After crunching the numbers it’s clear that 2019 has continued the trend from 2018 and breaking records in all areas of home sales for Sea & Ski Realty, once again beating the previous records from 2007.
