Karen Cox
Broker of Record
Sea & Ski Realty Ltd.
With more than 32 years of real estate experience, Karen Cox has earned a respected reputation throughout Grey County, Beaver Valley, and Southern Georgian Bay for her professionalism, leadership, and client-first approach. As the Owner and Broker of Record of Sea & Ski Realty, Karen has built a boutique brokerage grounded in integrity, trusted advice, innovative marketing, and genuine long-term relationships. Karen believes real estate is about far more than buying and selling property. It’s about helping people find the lifestyle, community, and future they’ve been dreaming about. Whether guiding buyers searching for a country retreat, waterfront property, ski chalet, or full-time home, or helping sellers position their property for maximum exposure and value, Karen combines decades of market expertise with a calm, approachable style that puts clients at ease. Her ability to navigate complex transactions while delivering a personalized experience has resulted in a business built largely through repeat clients and referrals. A reflection of the trust and confidence she has earned throughout her career.
Deeply committed to both her profession and her community, Karen has served in leadership roles at every level of organized real estate. She served twice as President of the REALTORS® Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound in 2010 and 2015, later representing Western Ontario REALTORS® as a Provincial Director on the Board of the Ontario Real Estate Association. In 2019, Karen was honoured to serve as President of the Ontario Real Estate Association, representing more than 80,000 real estate professionals across the province.
Karen’s commitment to community leadership extends beyond real estate. She currently serves as President of the South Grey Chamber of Commerce, where she works alongside local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to support economic growth, tourism, and the continued success of the South Grey region.
Karen’s connection to Grey County runs deep. Having spent much of her life in the region, she understands firsthand what draws people to the area — the natural beauty, four-season recreation, strong sense of community, and relaxed rural lifestyle. Outside of real estate, Karen enjoys alpine skiing, snowshoeing, sailing, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her husband Russ on their 100-acre country property, taking in the landscapes and lifestyle that continue to inspire her passion for the area she proudly calls home.
For Karen, success in real estate has always been measured by relationships, not transactions. Her passion for helping people, combined with her extensive industry experience and deep local knowledge, continues to make her a trusted resource for buyers and sellers across Grey County and Southern Georgian Bay.
