The magic of the holidays is returning to Grey Highlands! We’re thrilled to once again welcome families and friends to Santa’s Workshop, part of this year’s Holiday in the Highlands celebration!

This year, Santa's Workshop is taking place at the Annesley United Church, 82 Toronto St S, Markdale, on Saturday, November 29 from 1 PM - 4 PM.

Bring your little ones, your big ones, your camera-ready smiles, and your holiday cheer because Photos with Santa are back! This beloved annual tradition brings families together for sweet, silly, and heartwarming moments with the jolly man himself. Yes, Santa will be here in person, ready to chat about wish lists, share a laugh, and pose for your family photo keepsake.

And the best part? Admission is completely FREE!

What’s Happening at Santa’s Workshop?

Before or after your scheduled photo time with Santa, feel free to explore all the holiday fun happening throughout Santa’s Workshop:

• Tree Ornament Crafting Station – Let your creativity shine! Kids (and grown-ups too) can make a special ornament to take home and hang on the Christmas tree for years to come.

• Cookie Decorating Station – Because no holiday celebration is complete without festive snacks and goodies! Brought to you by the Markdale Recreation Committee.

This is a relaxed, cheerful, family-friendly environment where the spirit of community shines. Whether this is your first time joining us or your annual tradition, we can’t wait to see you!

How Photos With Santa Works

To help the line move smoothly, we ask families to register and select a timeslot in advance.
Once you’ve chosen your timeslot:

• We recommend arriving early to Santa's Workshop, at least 10 minutes before your designated time.

• Enjoy the activities, treats, and fun before and/or after your photo time.

• When your time comes head over to our Santa Photo Station for your visit with Santa and your holiday photo moment!

We’ll have everything organized to keep the experience joyful, warm, and un-rushed.

While admission is free, we will once again be collecting non-perishable food items for our local food bank. If you're able, please consider helping us spread the holiday love to neighbours in need. Every bit goes a long way this time of year.

All of our photo session timeslots have been filled, but there's still a chance to have your magic moment with Santa!
Register below for our Waitlist. We will be offering guests new timeslots on a first-come-first-serve basis as they become available!

We can’t wait to celebrate the season with you.
See you there!
