Because of the Niagara Escarpment rock surrounding the Beaver Valley, there are remarkable caves and crevices that exist throughout the region.

We've compiled a list of some of our favourite winter caves to explore!

 

BRUCE CAVES

Explores caves that were formed by the wave action of post-glacial Lake Algonquin, 7,000 to 8,000 years ago.

 

DUNCAN ESCARPMENT

Explores the west side of the Niagara Escarpment leading into the Beaver Valley and the Duncan Crevice Caves Nature Reserve.

 

SCENIC CAVES

A labyrinth of caves and crevices.  In order to access the caves you must pay an entrance fee.
